For a while I've wanted to do a hand forged liner lock. Something solid enough for basic bushcraft tasks, 1/8" blade, scandi grind, all that good stuff. Think I finally found a viable option. I made this little guy with with some stock stainless liners, screws and other hardware, and a hardened steel barrel pivot. The blade and scales are done from raw stock, 1095 high carbon steel and torched red oak.
I'm going to carry this guy around for a bit and see what I think. This should give me the option to do a bit of customization with the blade shape and grind, and the handle material can be anything.
